AI Implementation
SERVICE ENGINEERING GUIDE
Move a useful AI idea into a controlled business workflow. We define the decision or task, compare technical approaches, build an evaluated pilot and integrate only the capabilities that meet the agreed release criteria.
What we deliver in practice
Use-case engineering
Translate a business request into inputs, outputs, user actions and measurable success criteria. Compare rules, conventional automation and AI before selecting the simplest approach that meets the need.
Use-case specification and evaluation scorecard.
Data & model selection
Assess data quality, permissions and representative test coverage. Compare suitable hosted or self-managed models against Arabic/English quality, latency, privacy constraints and operating cost.
Data-readiness findings and model comparison results.
Application & enterprise integration
Build the interface, orchestration and approved system connections. Add authentication, input checks, output validation, logging and human approval before actions that change business records or trigger external commitments.
Working pilot, API contracts and approval workflow.
Evaluation & production transition
Test representative, ambiguous and adversarial inputs; record failure modes and fallback behaviour. Release in stages with usage limits, quality monitoring and rollback to a known configuration.
Evaluation report, release checklist and support runbook.
The technology, explained
Language models
Models generate or interpret text from patterns learned during training. Fluent output can still be wrong, so task evaluation and source checks remain necessary.
Evaluation set
Representative examples with reviewed expected outcomes, kept separate from development where appropriate. It measures usefulness and failure modes before release.
Human approval gate
A defined point where an authorised person reviews a proposed action before execution. It needs clear context, permissions and a record of the decision.
Reference architectures & design practices
Illustrative patterns for project discussions. Final topology, sizing, products and acceptance criteria are developed against your requirements. These are BrightGate concept diagrams, not vendor-certified designs.
Governed AI application+
On smaller screens, scroll the diagram sideways to see all components.
An authenticated request reaches an AI workflow that uses approved data and a selected model. Outputs are checked before use, and higher-impact actions require a human decision. Evaluation and monitoring surround the entire workflow, not just the model call.
Design practices to apply
- Define what the system must decline or escalate.
- Use a representative held-out evaluation set.
- Set ownership for incidents, data and model changes.
Systems, products & official references
Examples to evaluate during scoping. Selection, supported features, hardware and licences depend on the agreed solution; a product mention does not imply a certification or an included purchase.
Hosted AI services / private model hosting
Deployment choices depend on data constraints, capability, hardware and support requirements.
Official reference Microsoft AI technology choicesOrchestration + enterprise APIs
Connect models to bounded tasks and explicitly approved business tools.
AI risk and evaluation practices
Use documented risk ownership and evaluation throughout delivery.

Acceptance evidence
Task quality
Compare outputs against a reviewed reference set and baseline process.
Operational fit
Measure end-to-end latency, cost and error handling under agreed load.
Control behaviour
Exercise denied actions, human approvals and fallback responses.
