SERVICE ENGINEERING GUIDE
Turn speech into usable information and text into accessible spoken experiences. We build Arabic and English workflows for transcription, voice responses, meeting notes and contact-centre assistance, evaluated on the accents and audio conditions your users actually encounter.
What we deliver in practice
Speech to text
Implement batch or streaming transcription with timestamps and speaker separation where supported. Evaluate noisy audio, dialect variation and specialist terms; route uncertain passages to review where required.
Transcription pipeline and labelled quality results.
Text to speech
Generate spoken prompts and responses using approved voices. Tune pronunciation, pacing and language switching; apply brand and accessibility review. Custom voice work requires the relevant consent and platform eligibility.
Voice catalogue, pronunciation rules and reviewed samples.
Conversational voice workflows
Connect speech recognition to intent handling and authorised business tools. Design interruptions, clarification, session timeouts and live-agent transfer; make a failed lookup recoverable rather than inventing an answer.
Dialogue map, integration contracts and escalation paths.
Conversation insights
Create reviewed summaries, action items and searchable transcripts. Separate source speech from model-generated interpretation, and apply access controls and agreed retention to recordings and derived notes.
Summary templates, source links and retention settings.
The technology, explained
STT / TTS
Speech to text transcribes audio; text to speech synthesises spoken output. They are separate stages with different language, latency and quality tests.
Speaker diarisation
Identifies which segments belong to different speakers. It separates speaker turns; it does not necessarily identify the person’s real-world identity.
Word error rate
A transcription measure based on substitutions, deletions and insertions. Business-critical names or numbers should also receive separate field-level checks.
Reference architectures & design practices
Illustrative patterns for project discussions. Final topology, sizing, products and acceptance criteria are developed against your requirements. These are BrightGate concept diagrams, not vendor-certified designs.
A two-way voice assistant+
On smaller screens, scroll the diagram sideways to see all components.
The speech layer converts audio to text; the application resolves the request and sends an approved response to speech synthesis. Latency accumulates across all stages. Human transfer and a text alternative should remain available when the workflow requires them.
Design practices to apply
- Test dialects, names, numbers and noisy environments.
- Keep recording consent and retention explicit.
- Measure full conversation latency, including interruptions.
Systems, products & official references
Examples to evaluate during scoping. Selection, supported features, hardware and licences depend on the agreed solution; a product mention does not imply a certification or an included purchase.
Speech recognition services
Streaming and batch options selected around language support and channel needs.
Official reference Microsoft Speech to TextSpeech synthesis services
Voice and language capabilities must be verified for the selected service and deployment.
Official reference Microsoft Text to SpeechTelephony / web audio connectors
Connectors depend on the customer PBX, contact-centre or browser architecture.

Recognition
Measure word error and critical-field accuracy by dialect and audio condition.
Speech output
Review pronunciation, intelligibility and timing with native speakers.
Conversation
Test interruption, ambiguity, unavailable tools and human transfer.
